Putnam Park – rFactor 2
I’ve had a few days spare to play around with the recent rFactor2 release, and pretty much used up all my spare time now. So I’ve decided to push out what I’ve managed so far with my Putnam Park conversion from my original scratch build for rFactor. Find details below.

Installation
Please do not distribute in any other form.
To install place the mod in rFactor2\Packages folder.
Run Launch rFactor, and then choose Manage Mods.
Under Options detick show Mods Only
Right Click on the Putnam Park entry and Install
Track only appears under All Cars and Tracks Series in Single PlayerFeatures, Limitations & Known Errors
* Includes Main Layout Only
* Includes Dynamic Wet Weather Reflections, but not all objects have correct reflection plane
* Real Road Fully Setup
* Includes Custom HDR Profiles
* Includes Interesting Default Weather (i.e. it rains and then stops!)
* Known Error with Trees, for some reason some are very dark, seems to be Tools export error.
* No Track Marshalls yet, awaiting ISI to release their files
* Track Component only – to race online requires a series with it added
* Shadows aren’t very good – Engine Issue on the whole I think though.How to Install to Dev Mode
Install Normally, then go to rFactor2\Installed\Locations\Putnam Park\0.2

Autodromo Floripa – Game Stock Car
Autodromo Floripa is the result of the ‘buildatrackquick‘ project that I worked on this past week. The aim was to build a fantasy race track real quick. A ‘long’ weekend was the initial time frame, in the end it took pretty much a full week to complete. In order to complete it in the time frame TSOs were reused from the existing standard Game Stock Car tracks with a few tweaks to make them suit the set.

Putnam Park – Game Stock Car
Putnam Park is now available for Game Stock Car. The track has had a few minor updates from the rFactor version and includes 4 different layouts, in addition to a second event for the long layout with advertisements around the track.

Vanport International Raceway – Game Stock Car
Today I’m releasing Vanport International Raceway for Reiza Studios’s Game Stock Car. This has received a bit of an update since the last rFactor release, as detailed below.
CONVERSION FOR GAME STOCK CAR
- Converted to Game Stock Car from my original rFactor release
- Overhauled road and terrain shaders and textures
- Updated Buildings to GSC Shaders and added ambient occlusion
- Updated to GSC AdPack format
- Added many generic tsos from GSC including Trucks, Vans, Cars, Ambulances, Pit Stands, Flags, Baloons, Helicopter and Marshalls
- New Video for TV Screens in game
- General Atmosphere of Circuit updated to how it was in the Summer of 2009 when I visited the circuit.
- New AI Paths suited to GSC cars.

This update of the existing conversion has been done for my league. It’s a quick 2 to 3 week update that improves the existing version, but is a long way from perfect. I hope you enjoy.
Weissach
Weissach is Porsche’s private test circuit. This creation was done from one video and in 2 weeks. So I apologise for any inaccuracies.

Vielsalm – Festival de l’Automobile
Once a year, the motor sporting world’s attention in this region of Europe switches away from Spa and the legendary Nurburgring to the festival staged at Vielsalm.
Once a great circuit of 12km which rivaled the classic race circuits in the region, now down scaled to a size of 4.38km holds one meeting a year. A mixture of public roads and purpose built race track make this a spectacular event for all involved.
The track itself consists of spectacular scenery and elevation changes as well as fast flowing turns and blind apexes. It’s a stern test for every driver that pits their wits at the venue.
About
I started development on this track 18 months ago, and this is about as far as it got with in a few months. Other projects have taken over and I can’t ever see me getting the chance to finish this. I hope you enjoy the rollercoaster ride.
If anyone is interested in finishing development on this circuit please contact me. As all it really needs is finishing up in terms of TSOs.
I don’t really want this track converting to other formats in this state. Sorry.
